Considered to be one of the most famous sites in the whole of Egypt, the Pyramids of Giza go back to over 4000 years of history. Together with The Great Sphinx which is located against Khafre's pyramid, these are thought to be Icons of Egypt and not to be missed.

3. The Nile River
The most famous river in the whole of Egypt, the Nile offers you an extensive look into over 5000 years of history. The best way to see it though would be on a cruise as this lets you see a greater detail as you sail down what people call the "heart" of Egypt.

4. The Valley Of The Kings
Located on the west bank of the Nile across from Luxor, The Valley Of the Kings, as its name suggests, is home to the great Kings of Egypt who are buried here.

5. Luxor Temple
An ancient Egyptian temple located in Luxor, the entrance itself is a stunning view, followed by coliseums and courtyards of both Ramses II and Amenhotep.

6. The Egyptian Museum In Cairo
This museum contains over 120,000 artifacts ranging from Tutankhamen's treasures to Mummies and Sculptures that will leave you simply mesmerized.

7. Red Sea Coast
A definite must for those who want to see the beauty of Egypt from underwater. Resorts such as Hurghada offer diving for all, taking you to some of the most beautiful parts of the Red Sea Coast.

8. White Desert
Located 30 miles from Farafra, this desert is unlike any you've seen with white rock formations and cream colored outlook. Viewed best at sunset or sunrise, watch as the landscape seemingly changes and brings you to a totally different world.

9. Abu Simbel
Two of the most beautiful rock temples in the world can be found here, as a monument to both Pharaoh Ramses II and his Queen Nefertari. Colossal Statues adorn both the outer temples, making it visible sight even from miles away, just like how the Pharaoh himself wanted it to be.

10. Dakhla
Visiting Egypt wouldn't be complete without seeing at least one oasis. Dakhla is one of the few that still have tradition kept intact together with beautiful surroundings.
